Surgery

So yesterday Gage had surgery, he had to have his tonsils taken out... The nurse said he screamed which I warned them... Out of our 2 boys Gage is the screamer.... LOL all has gone ok... Rough night the first night but hopefully it will get better as the day goes on! Here is a picture of him after surgery. He would be laying there talking to us and the next thing his head hit the pillow and he was out of it... The only thing that we could do to keep him calm was to tell him to watch the heart monitor and the oxygen rates and to try and keep them down to a certain level. It was pretty funny.

I am finally getting around to getting some pictures on here. Holy cow it has taken me forever.... Here are a few of the pictures that we had taken by April Davis around christmas time... She did an amazing job, it was about 5 degrees outside a week before christmas and foggy... For the conditions that she had to work with I think that they turned out pretty darn good.

WOW!! I can not beleive that it has taken me this long to make another post... The last 6 months have been so crazy in our lives. I will try to give a little run down on what has been going on in our lives. Lets start with August...
Gage and Oalkey started 1st grade this year. They have Mrs. Painter as their teacher and they absolutly adore her, she has been a wonderful teacher and grate examble for the boys. September was a very hard month for us. I was working on a monday night when I got on of the worst phone calls that I could have gotten. My little sisters little man passed away of SIDS that night. Casheton Cole Erickson was 7 weeks old and was an angel sent from Heaven. There isnt a day that goes by that I dont think of him or my little sister Shianne and her family. By the end of the month things started to look up a little bit. Around the same time Jeremy heard wind of a big lay off that would be happening at this job. In the meantime we were trying to sign on our first home. That brings us to October... We did it, we finally bought our first home.... It was the one... I cant beleive how much work it is to pack everything and move it all. wow we had alot of stuff... thanks to Holly, Robert, Pete, and Austin we got all moved in over one weekend. which i didnt think was to bad. Halloween was next... I couldnt beleive 15 bags of candy... We have never had trick or treaters at the other house.....We also decided to start our own buisness. DESERET Computer Solutions. This has been jers dream to start it and we finally made the step... November, Jeremy turned 30.... It was fun. I got to throw him a party, all of our friends and family came out it was so nice to see them all..... Thanksgiving in our own house... We didnt get asked to go anywhere this year so we decided to jsut make it and hang out at home... It was wonderful. We had some friends come over and then we all went and took the kids trap shooting... December 2nd... Happy Anniversary wow 9 years all ready... I LOVE YA JER... Dec 4th. Jeremy gets laid off.... Yep you heard it Laid Off... what the hek are we gonna do....Jeremy decided that we eere going to work at the computer office getting things going. It has been wonderful. I love having him home everyday. It has been so great. Christmas was great we stayed in Grantsville and did the family rounds and made sure we visited everyone. New Years this year was really calm but a blast... Being in a new house I didnt want a ton of kids over there running threw the house so I decided to have jers mom and sister and her kids come over. It was fun, I made alot of food and snacks and we played alot of games. January... Gage and Oakley tuen 7!!! I can not beleive that my baby boys are 7! They had a fun little party this year. We bought them the Wii and they had some of there friends come over and have a sleep over... yep you heard right 7 little 1st graders.... tThey were so dang funny...

I think that is about it. Know that I have caught this all up hopefully I can keep up on it. I will post some pictures real soon.

RMR Raceway.... Sept. 5, 2009

Yet another post of the race track. I am beginning to beleive that all we do is live at the track. Jeremy's usual driver wasnt there last night so he had a new one. What a show.... They caused most of the caustions, they had 2 teams mad at them and when it was all over and said and done they took 5th place... Not bad for a rookie... They have one more race on the 12th.. for all of those who can make it we would love to have the support.... The Boys also got the opportunity to ride around the track a few times in the pace car... Gage cried for a second but ended up loving it. Oakley had a blast, the faster the better.... Jeremy's mom and sister Angie and her 3 kids and Christopher and his daughter all came.. Jackson came as well.. and of course Gage and Oakley are the biggest supporters. It was alot of fun.... Here are a few pictures... Jeremy's car is PLUM NUTZ #4

1st day of school

Today was the boys 1st day school... I was sad, yet excited at the same time. They woke and had breakfast, got dressed and they still had 45 minutes left, the keep bugging me , mom is it time yet mom when are we going... It was so cute. Gage was so excited to shoe everyone his pink shirt and his new watch and Oakley was just excited to go to school... They have Mrs. Painter this year. Her class is decorated so cute. When I picked them up they couldnt wait to call Jeremy and tell him all about there day. He wasnt able to go with me this year to drop them off because he is in Michigan taking a class for work... Last night was another one of our monthly nights that we spendat the track... Jeremy and Jeff raced again last night they did awesome... The came in 2nd place, and they didnt cause 1 cation of the night... Jeremy must be getting the hang of it... Here are some of the pictures from the night..

So I have had a really bad week this last week...I feel like I need to apologize to all my friends and family for being such an awful person. Monster Trucks

Alright who dosent love the Monster Trucks.. We never miss them they are so much fun. We went sunday night out to Rocky Mountain Raceway to watch the Clash of the Titans. We have gone every year since the boys were old enough to walk.... There loud, fun and un predictable. They are the best when they roll their trucks. Sometimes you see it and sometimes they dont. They boys have their favorite trucks that they cheer for. Its fun to watch them get excited... Jeremy won something that night at the track for the first time every. We won the race-o-bingo. kinda cool he got a hat, 2 shirts, and a waterbottle... Here are a few pictures of the Monster Trucks

Once a month we get together with Jeremy's dads family and have dinner... This month his brother Jim and Wife Laurie along with megan and Dylan were up from California. It was so good to seethem. We usually get to see them about every 4 years. We should get better about staying in touch. Their kids have grown up so much since I have last seen them. Megan is 9 and Dylan is 6 so you can imagine Gage and Oakley got along great with him. They were like the 3 amigos... Here are a few pictures of the day....

Big Cotton Wood Camping Trip

So every year about the same time we go to big cottonwood camping with Jeremys family... It is so much fun. It a week lomg of relaxing well sorta, camping is usually more work than vacationing. We usually do something evryday but this year the boys fished and we kinda just hung out around camp. Gage and Oakley rode their bikes about 100 miles a day. They loved it... Suprisingly this year there was no BLOOD... What a shocker....He hiked this year up to Donut Falls it was so pretty there was so much water in the cave this year.. O ya and gage and oakley fished for squirrels, talk about funny they caught a few with marshmellows, gummy worms, taffy you name anything with sugar. I wanted to swim but we didnt... Here are a few pictures of the week... I was horrible about taking pictures this time...

Last night we went to Rocky Mountain Raceway! Jeremy and one of our buddies Jeff race there on the weekends! For all of you that do not know what the train cars are I have added a little video to get kinda what he does... But here is the the break down. Jeff is the front car, he has the gas and a steering wheel. The middle car is empty and Jeremy is the back car. He has the brakes. They have no communication between the two of them. Then they race figure 8... so funny.
It was alot of fun. My little sister Amberand Travis went! My dad was up from Arizona so he came. There was Jeff and his wife Karla and Jeff's parents Larry and Anita and some friends that we have met through them and of course the boys.

Ok so it has been so dang long since i have posted something. My little sister has been on my ass to get this done so I am going to put a slide show up of some of the most random things... There are some pictures of our hike that we went on up in Spanish Fork Canyon. Its was pretty cool. It was a sbout a 4 mile hike to the top. Once you get there you can relax in the hot pots. That is if you want to hang out with a bunch of old naked guys... It was pretty gross... There are some pictures of a BBQ that we went to last friday night and some friends house. Justin and Tristines... It was fun! Amber and I took the boys and Brooklyn to the zoo on wednesday so there are a few of those pictures on there. It was fun the animals where boring as ever. They just layed there.... They kids enjoyed it. I think buy the time that we left after being there for over 2 hours they all 3 where completely exhausted. I know that I was...lol

WOW look how long it has been since I have updated this crazy page.... There has been so much going on in our lives the last couple of months! Just a little update... Jeremy is still working @ the same job and he is crazy busy... He also decided to do alittle racing in his spare time on the weekend at Rocky Mountain Raceway! He is racing with a buddy doing the train cars... Its so funny you definietly need to come and see him race. I also am still doing hair in Stansbury! It has been so busy... Thanks to all of you that support me I love ya all!!! As for the boys.... They are growing like weeds and getting so big. I hate it...
We are getting to build our new house. We are hoping that we can break ground after the 4th of july! We are getting so excited. I will try to keep updated photos...

Last Wednesday the boys and I went to American Fork to spend the day with my dad. They were all up from Arizona so they wanted me to bring the boys down so the could play. We went to lunch and swimming... Thats a chore with 4 kids... I Took the 4 kids down to the pool before everyone else was ready that was scary. Brooklyn dove into the pool and I had to go in after her fully dressed... Thanks goodness I took extra Cloths...

On Valentines we decided to take the boys to see the Monster Trucks. Two of there favorite trucks were there... Maximum Destruction and the Maverik Monster Trucks. It was alot of fun. Grandma Karlla and Uncle Christopher came with us too. They spoiled the boys. This was fun to spend Valentines with them. No crazy 3 hour dinner reservations just the lines at the Energy Solutions Arena...

JAZZ V.S. SPURS

Jeremy and I took the boys to the Jazz game on tuesday night. It was alot of fun. of course I was the only one in our section cheering for the spurs but o well... We still had fun. Gage was just glad to be there and Oakley was mad that the Jazz lost. They got there pictures taken and tattoos and a foam finger and a Jazz ball.... SPOILED!!! You can tell from the pictures that we had fun...(sorry none of Jeremy he wouldn't take any)

Christmas 2008-
I wanted to add a few pictures from christmas. Oakley got a new drum set, think I was a little bit crazy for gettin this but he loves it. He wants to take lessons so I am looking around for someone out here to teach him. Gage wanted a Guitar so that is what he got. Same with him he wants to take lessons so hopefully start soon. They started a little band together it is called "EYE OF THE TIGER" not sure where that came from but they actually sound pretty good.

JANUARY 2009

WOW, it's January so much has happened. I am going to start fresh for the year and try and keep it updated... so lets see so far in January my baby boys which are not babies turned 6!!! I am so sad... so here are some pictures that we took from there party!

Camping

After the 4th of July we went to North Willow with Jeremy's mom and family to go camping. It was alot of fun, we rode the fourwheelers and ate dutchoven and sat around the camp fire... The boys loved anything to get them dirty... We had my neice Brooklyn too, it was her first camping trip, she loved it....

On the 4th like always we went to the parade and went to the park afterwards... We had Brooklyn this year it was her first year really knowing what to do at the parade she was so cute as well as the boys... They love the Parade the more candy the better... Oakley loved the floats with water he would beg them to get him wet... After the parade we went to the park and let the kids play on the big slides, Oakley liked the dunk tank.. Gage and Jeremy threw the balls to get him dunked. We ended the night at Holly and Roberts for the family BBQ where we played water kickball(homeplate is the slip-n-slide) and ate hamburgers and hotdogs... We walked down to the display of fireworks for the nightcap...

Swimming Lessons

The boys started swimming lessons today... Things went well, Gage was a little bit shy at first then he hoped right in and did really good... They love the water so we just need them to seim a little bit better.... We like to go to the pool a couple of times a week... It is so much fun....

Here is a tribute to all of our dad's.... We spent the day visiting almost all of our dads and spending the day with Jeremy... We went into the canyons to take a few family pictures (they really needed updated). It was so fun we let the boys throw a few rocks into the water and play for awhile... we ended the day off with a BBQ with Jeremy's dad and family in grantsville....

After a long 6 months of batteling strep throat and ear infections, they finally decided to take out oakley tonsils, adnoids and put some tubes back in his ears... the recovery has been so long..... but lets hope that he gets feeling so much better!

Rocky Mountain Raceway

Last weekend we had one of our many family outtings, we went to Rocky Mountain Raceway... We have a lot of fun when we go! Our favorite race is the trains. In the trains they have three cars hooked together the first one has the gas, the middle one there is nothing and the back one is the brakes. They race in the Figure 8 and run in to each other. It is great!!! My boys have so much fun going there, they laugh eat junk food and we all have a great time....

Over Memorial Weekend we went to my sisters wedding in Montana. It was alot of fun, so we decided that me and my two sisters (amber and ashley) and ambers baby Brooklyn were gonna go on a road trip... so much fun!

80's Birthday party...

For my Birthday this year, I wanted to have an 80's themed party complete with dressing up and kareokee... It was so much fun.. My girlfriends all planned this, it was a blast even though everyone stared everywhere we went... Later that night after dinner, they planned a surprise party it was so much fun... everyone needs to do this at least once. Relive the past and be thankful that we still dont dress like that...

For Easter this year, we decided to have the family dinner at our house... We had a BBQ with all the family! Jeremy's mom and dad's family both came over and we played soccor and eat and let all of the neices and nephews play... It was alot of fun.

The pictures show Ella in the first one she is Christopher and Nellie's baby girl... she just turned one! Then the next one is one of all the grand kids...
